ArtApp.ai (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by GetFire Ltd, a company registered in England. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. What we collect

When you use ArtApp.ai, we may collect the following information:

When you create artwork: The text prompts you enter. These are used to generate your artwork. We may store prompts temporarily to deliver your order.

When you purchase: Your name, email address, delivery address (for prints), and payment information. Payment details are handled by our secure payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.

Automatically: Basic analytics data such as page views and browser type, collected via cookies or similar technologies.

2. How we use your data

We use your information to fulfil orders, process payments, deliver digital downloads, communicate about your order, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services for AI image generation (BFL), voice synthesis (HeyGen, OpenAI), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and website hosting (Vercel). These services may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary to provide our service to you.

4. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

Session cookie (artapp_session) — Essential. Keeps you signed in. Expires 30 days after your last visit. HttpOnly, not accessible to JavaScript.

Device identifier (artapp_did) — Essential. A random anonymous identifier used to detect abuse of the free generation tier. Does not contain personal information and cannot identify you. Expires after 1 year.

Analytics — We may use Vercel Analytics to understand how people use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.

5. Community features

If you publish artwork to the community feed, your chosen display name, caption, and artwork will be visible to all users. Your email address is never displayed publicly. You can unpublish your work at any time from the My Creations page.

If you share artwork via a share link, the artwork preview and prompt are visible to anyone with the link. Share links do not display your email address or identity.

6. Data retention

Your generated artwork (including images and videos) is stored permanently in your account for as long as your account exists. Order data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil your order and comply with legal obligations (typically 6 years for tax records). If you delete your account, all your data — including artwork, credits, orders, and feed posts — is permanently erased from our systems.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing or request data portability. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. To exercise other rights, contact us at hello@artapp.ai.
